Day Thirty

Today was… the last day! I did a lot of wrap-up work today. I received a response to my email to my third interviewee, suggesting some modifications that I implemented. I filled out the New York Times’ Opinion Guest Essay form, meaning that my article is submitted 🥳

I also focused on reaching my $500 goal before 9 PM today, sending a request for donations in my whole-class chat and speaking to my friends. (I wanted to raise slightly more — around $520 — since GoFundMe charges some fees. If I raised approximately $520, I would be able to donate around $500 to the organizations).

This was an amazing journey, and I learned so much from it: ranging from communication skills to journalistic experience to public speaking techniques. Thank you to my teacher for this opportunity!
